This document provides information and step-by-step guidance to troubleshoot a Sunmi V2 device provided by Snappy Shopper.
π Step 1 β Restart the Device
Restarting the device should always be the first step when troubleshooting any issue, whether hardware or software.
For a variety of reasons, a simple restart can often resolve issues quickly and save time on further investigation.
How to restart:
- Hold the Power button on the side of the device
- Select βRebootβ

π Step 2 β Device Factory Reset
The Sunmi V2 device can be reset back to its factory settings, which may resolve issues caused by misconfigured software or hardware.
β οΈ This should be used as a last step before contacting Snappy Shopper Support.

- Ensure the device is connected to a charger, as the reset process may take some time

- Open the βSettingsβ app

- Follow the on-screen steps to perform a Factory Reset

βΉοΈ Important Information
- All Snappy Shopper app data is stored on servers, so no data will be lost
- The only exception is any unsaved order changes, which cannot be recovered
β³ After the Reset
- Wait for the device to fully complete the reset process
- Reconnect to a WiFi network when prompted
- Allow the Snappy Shopper Order Management app to automatically install on startup
β οΈ Additional Notes
- When prompted to register with Sunmi, select βSkipβ at the bottom of the screen
- If the app does not install automatically, download it via the deviceβs App Store
