🎉 Multi Buy Discount: Percentage Off

ℹ️ Overview

Multi Buy Discounts provide a flexible way to create promotions across your menu.

Despite the name, they can be applied to:

• ✅ Individual products
• ✅ Multiple products
• ✅ Entire categories

This guide explains how to create a Percentage Off promotion (for example, 10% Off or 50% Off).

Note: The Type dropdown includes several discount types, including:

• N For N
• N For Price
• Meal Deal
• Multi Section Meal Deal
• Amount Off (£)
• Percentage Off (%)

🧭 Step-by-Step Guide

🔐 Step 1: Log in

Log in to the Admin Dashboard using your credentials.

📍 Step 2: Navigate to Manage Discounts

From the Admin Dashboard, navigate to:

Multi Buy Discounts → Manage Discounts

Select the ➕ Add tab.

📝 Step 3: Enter Promotion Details

🏷️ Name

Enter a name for the promotion.

Example:

50% Off Drinks

📂 Menu Group

Select the menu group the promotion will apply to.

🎯 Step 4: Select the Discount Type

From the Type dropdown, select Percentage Off.

This discount type applies a percentage reduction to the eligible products.

Examples include:

• 10% Off
• 20% Off
• 50% Off

✏️ Step 5: Enter the Discount Value

Enter the percentage discount in the % Off field.

Example:

Optional: Minimum Order Value

If required, enter a Minimum Order Value (£).

Customers must meet this basket value before the promotion is applied.

📅 Step 6: Set the Promotion Dates

Select:

• 📅 Start Date
• 📅 End Date

📆 Step 7: Select the Valid Days

Choose the days on which the promotion should run.

Examples include:

• Every day
• Weekends only
• Weekdays only

🚚 Step 8: Select the Order Type

Choose where the promotion applies:

• 🌍 All (default)
• 🏪 Collection Only
• 🚗 Delivery Only

📱 Step 9: Configure Customer Display

App Overlay Text or Image

Your promotion must include either:

• App Overlay Text, or
• An Overlay Image.

The promotion cannot be saved if both are left blank.

Overlay Text

This text appears on the product image within the Snappy Shopper app and website.

Keep it:

• Short
• Clear
• Eye-catching

Example:

• 50% Off
• Half Price
• Save 20%

Overlay Image (Optional)

Instead of overlay text, you can upload a promotional image.

For best results:

• Use a square PNG image.
• Recommended size: 483 × 483 pixels.

Note: If overlay text is entered, it will be displayed instead of the overlay image.

Discount Text

Optionally, enter Discount Text to provide additional promotional information.

Enable View Other Items

You can enable View Other Items to allow customers to see other products included in the promotion.

This helps promotions stand out visually to customers.

🔒 Step 10: Restrict the Promotion

Choose how the promotion should be applied.

📂 Category Level

Apply the promotion to an entire category.

To do this:

1. Select a category.
2. Click Add Category.

Important: Any products added to that category in the future will automatically inherit the promotion.

Categories can be removed at any time.

You can remove categories anytime using the ❌ icon.

🛒 Product Level

Apply the promotion only to selected products.

To add products:

1. Click Browse.
2. Search by:
   • Product Name
   • Barcode
   • Category
3. Select the required products.

The promotion updates automatically as products are added.

💾 Step 11: Save the Promotion

Once you've completed the required fields and configured your promotion, click Save.

Your Percentage Off promotion will become active according to the dates, days, order type and restrictions you've configured.
