ℹ️ Overview
This guide explains how to apply an order pause to temporarily stop customers from placing orders.
⚠️ Important
- Order pauses reset automatically at 1am
- This feature should only be used for same-day / short-term pauses
👉 For longer closures, use the Store Holiday feature instead
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide
🔐 Step 1: Log in
- Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials
- If you do not have access, please raise a ticket with Support
📍 Step 2: Navigate to Store Status
- Click Dashboard (left-hand menu)
- Select Store Status
⏸️ Step 3: Pause Orders
- Tick the box under “Pause Orders”
📝 Step 4: Select Reason
- Choose the reason for the pause from the pop-up
- Click “Confirm”
💬 Step 5: Add Customer Message
- Enter a message in the “Order Overload Message” field
💡 Tip
This message will be visible to customers on the App and Website when they view your store
💾 Step 6: Apply Changes
- Click “Update Stores”
