🎟️ Creating a Compensation Coupon (Admin Dashboard)

This guide explains how to create a Compensation Coupon for a customer directly from an order. This is typically used to resolve issues or improve customer satisfaction.

🧭 Step-by-Step Guide

🔐 Step 1: Log in

Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials.

📍 Step 2: Navigate to Orders

From the left-hand menu:

• Click Orders (or Manage Orders, depending on your access).

🔍 Step 3: Find the Order

1. Click Search Orders.
2. Enter the Order ID in the search field.
3. Click Search.

📄 Step 4: Open the Order

Click on the Order Number to view the full order details.

🎟️ Step 5: Create a Compensation Coupon

Click the Compensation Coupon button.

⚙️ Step 6: Enter Coupon Details

Complete the required information:

• 📋 Reason – Select the appropriate reason from the dropdown list:
  • Missing Items
  • Damaged / Out of Date Items
  • Incorrect Items
  • Cancelled Order
  • Delivered Excessively Late
  • Technical Problem
• 💷 Coupon Value – Enter the value of the compensation coupon.

🚀 Step 7: Create the Coupon

Click Create Coupon.

📩 What Happens Next?

The customer will automatically receive an email containing:

• 🎟️ Their compensation coupon details.
• 📝 The coupon's Terms & Conditions.

The coupon will also appear on the Order Details page above the Order Items section, showing details such as:

• Coupon Code
• Coupon Name
• Coupon Value
• Expiry Date

⚠️ Important Notes

The Compensation Coupon button will not be available if:

• A compensation coupon has already been created for the order.
• The order is still Pending.
• The order has been Cancelled.
• The order is more than 6 weeks (42 days) old.

👉 What to do instead

🔍 Option 1

Search for a previous eligible order using the customer's email address in the Orders search page, then create the compensation coupon from that order.

🎫 Option 2

Raise a ticket via the Retail Support Site with the required details.

Our Customer Service team will create the coupon on your behalf.
