ℹ️ Overview
This guide explains how to create a Compensation Coupon for a customer directly from an order. This is typically used to resolve issues or improve customer satisfaction.
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide
🔐 Step 1: Log in
- Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials
📍 Step 2: Navigate to Orders
- Click “Dashboard” (left-hand menu)
- Select “Orders”
🔍 Step 3: Find the Order
- Click “Search Orders”
- Enter the Order ID in the search field
- Click “Search”
📄 Step 4: Open Order
- Click on the Order Number to view full details
🎟️ Step 5: Create Compensation Coupon
- Click the “Compensation Coupon” button
⚙️ Step 6: Enter Coupon Details
- ✏️ Input the reason for the compensation
- 💷 Enter the coupon value
🚀 Step 7: Create Coupon
- Click “Create Coupon”
📩 What Happens Next?
- The customer will automatically receive an email notification with:
- Coupon details
- Terms & conditions
- The coupon will also be visible on the Order Details page:
- Displayed above the “Order Items” section

⚠️ Important Note
The “Compensation Coupon” button will not appear if the order has been declined or cancelled.
👉 What to do instead:
- 🔍 Option 1:
Search for a previous accepted order using the customer’s email address in the Orders search page, and create the coupon from there - 🎫 Option 2:
Raise a ticket via the Retail Support Site with the required details- Our Customer Service team will create the coupon on your behalf
💡 Tip
Always ensure you have the correct customer details and context before raising a compensation request.
