ℹ️ Overview
This guide explains how to add options (e.g. flavours, sizes, add-ons) to a manually created product.
⚠️ Important
Options can only be added to manually created products.
🧭 Step-by-Step Guide
🔐 Step 1: Log in
- Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials
- If you do not have access, please raise a ticket with Support
📍 Step 2: Navigate to Menu
- Click Dashboard (left-hand menu)
- Select Menu

📝 Step 3: Prepare Product for Options
- Manually add the product you want to apply options to
💡 Tip
Refer to the “How to add a product” guide if needed
✏️ Step 4: Edit Product
- Once the product has been created and saved
- Click the pencil icon on the right-hand side of the product

⚙️ Step 5: Access Options
- Click “Options” within the product edit screen

⚙️ Step 6: Configure Option Settings
- Enter the Name of the option
- Example: Pizza
- In the Placeholder field, enter:
- Please Select
🔢 Set Selection Limits
Max Selections
- Enter the maximum number of selections allowed
💡 Examples
- Meal deal with 2 pizzas → enter 2
- Toppings selection → enter 4 (allows up to 4 choices)
Min Selected Values
- Enter the minimum number of selections required
💡 Examples
- Meal deal with 2 pizzas → enter 2
- Toppings selection → usually 1 (unless more are required)
⚠️ Important
When adding paid options, always include a free option such as:
👉 “No Thanks!”
➕ Step 7: Add Option Group
- Click “Add Option”

🔁 Step 8: Repeat for Additional Options
- Repeat the previous steps to add all required option groups
- (e.g. Size, Flavour, Toppings, Drinks, etc.)
🔽 Step 9: Add Option Values
- Once all option groups are created
- Locate the table below showing your options
- Click “View” under the “Values” section for the relevant option
💡 Tip
Option groups are the headings (e.g. Pizza, Toppings)
Option values are the actual choices customers select (e.g. Margherita, Pepperoni)

➕ Step 10: Add Option Values
- Enter the name of the option value
- Example: Pepperoni Pizza
- If the option requires an additional charge:
- Enter the amount in the “Extra Cost” field
- Example: 0.20 = 20p
💡 Tip
- Leave Extra Cost blank for no additional charge

➕ Step 11: Add Remaining Values
- Click “Add Value”
- Repeat the process for all remaining options within that section
👀 Step 12: Review Option Values
- Once all values have been added
- All option values will be displayed in a list
