This guide explains how to add a sub-category to your store menu via the Admin Dashboard.

🧭 Step-by-Step Guide

🔐 Step 1: Log in

• Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials

📍 Step 2: Navigate to Categories

• Click Dashboard (left-hand menu)
• Select Categories

➕ Step 3: Add New Sub-Category

• Click “Add” at the top of the page

🗂️ Step 4: Select Parent Category

• In the Parent Category field:
  • Select the category you want this sub-category to sit within

📝 Step 5: Name the Sub-Category

• Enter the name in the “Name” field

💡 Note
This is the name customers will see on the App/Website

🔲 Step 6: Display Settings

• Tick “Display as Grid”

🔞 Step 7: Age Restrictions (If Required)

• If the category contains tobacco or alcohol:
  • Tick the relevant boxes
  • Enter “18” in the Age Restriction field

⚠️ Important
This ensures age verification at delivery

🖼️ Step 8: Add Image

• Scroll to “App Image”
• Click “Choose file”
• Upload your image

⚠️ Image Requirements

• Format: .PNG
• Recommended size: 210 x 210 pixels

💾 Step 9: Save Sub-Category

• Scroll to the bottom
• Click “Save”

👀 Viewing Sub-Categories

• To view sub-categories:
  • Go to Dashboard → Categories
  • Click “View” on the relevant parent category
