This guide explains how to create a new category and assign an image using the Admin Dashboard.

🧭 Step-by-Step Guide

🔐 Step 1: Log in

• Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials

📍 Step 2: Navigate to Categories

• Click Dashboard (left-hand menu)
• Select Categories

➕ Step 3: Add New Category

• Click “Add” at the top of the page

⚙️ Step 4: Configure Category

• Leave Parent Category as “Root”
• Enter the Category Name in the Name field
• Tick “Display as grid”

🔞 Step 5: Age Restrictions (If Required)

• If the category contains tobacco or alcohol:
  • Tick the relevant boxes
  • Enter the required age in “Age Restriction Years Old”

⚠️ Important
This ensures customers are age-checked at delivery

🖼️ Step 6: Add Category Image

• Scroll to “App Image”
• Click “Choose file”
• Upload your image

⚠️ Image Requirements

• Format must be .PNG

💾 Step 7: Save Category

• Scroll to the bottom
• Click “Save”

👀 Final Step: Review

• Your new category will now appear under:
  Dashboard → Categories
