⏰ How To Set Category Time & Day Restrictions

This guide explains how to restrict a category so products can only be purchased at specific times and days using the Admin Dashboard.

🧭 Step-by-Step Guide

🔐 Step 1: Log in

• Log in to the Admin Area using your credentials

📍 Step 2: Navigate to Categories

• Click Dashboard (left-hand menu)
• Select Categories

✏️ Step 3: Edit Category

• Click the pencil icon next to the category you want to restrict

⏱️ Step 4: Enable Time Restrictions

• Scroll down
• Tick “Has Time Restriction”

💾 Step 5: Save Changes

• Scroll to the bottom
• Click “Save”
• The page will refresh and return to the top

🕒 Configure Time Restrictions

📅 Step 6: Open Time Restrictions

• Click “Time Restrictions” (top left of the page)

📝 Step 7: Add Description

• Enter a description explaining availability
  • Example: Only available Mon–Thu 09:00 – 17:00
• Click “Update” to save

💡 Tip
This message is shown to customers when the category is unavailable

📆 Step 8: Set Availability Times

• Select a weekday from the dropdown
• Choose:
  • Opening availability time
  • Closing availability time

➕ Step 9: Add Time Slot

• Click “Add time”

🔁 Step 10: Repeat for Other Days

• Repeat Steps 8–9 for all required weekdays

📝 Important Note

⚠️ Unavailable Days
Any day without a set time frame will automatically be treated as unavailable once time restrictions are enabled
