How to hide/unhide products (using the tablet)

The steps below outline the process for hiding and unhiding a product using the tablet.

NOTE: If your Snappy store is under the control of an EPOS integration, your stock levels will be sent to Snappy automatically. You will not need to manually adjust your stock.

1. Click on the ‘Magnifying Glass‘ icon on the bottom right-hand corner
2. Set the criteria to ‘Hide from menu‘

3. Engage the barcode scanner by clicking on ‘Scan Barcode‘

4. Once the product has been scanned, a success message will appear. This product will be hidden on the menu. You can scan as many products as you wish, and it will apply the criteria that you have set

How to republish an item

5. To republish an item Click on the ‘trolley‘ symbol with the ‘plus’ icon highlighted in the screenshot

6. Click ‘Scan Barcode‘ to engage the scanner. Scan the product you wish to add

7. Untick the ‘Hide from menu’ box. Click ‘Update‘
